Radiographs (x-rays) are quite useful for diagnosing injuries and medical problems in your pet. X-rays are used to diagnose a number of conditions including: the location and severity of fractures; symptoms of heart disease; foreign bodies inside your pet's stomach; bladder stones; abscessed teeth and much more. To better diagnose your pet's health problems, Bellson Animal Hospital has invested in the latest state-of-the-art x-ray technology including digital and dental x-rays.
Ultrasound
We offer ultrasound in house and submit the images and footage for review and interpretation by a board-certified radiologist.
In-House Laboratory
Your pet cannot tell us what is wrong, and sometimes, a physical examination does not provide a full picture. In these cases, blood tests and other laboratory tests are used to diagnose your pet's condition. Bellson Animal Hospital's advanced on-site laboratory is equipped with the latest laboratory testing equipment. We are able to process blood, urine, fecal and cytology samples within minutes. Just a few of the in-house tests that can be performed on your pet include: blood chemistry tests, complete blood counts, urinalysis (with culture) and fecal analysis. With fast and accurate results, your pet's treatment can be initiated quickly.
