Jen Harlin Wilhelm, DVM 

Jen (Dr Harlin) Wilhelm is a Monroe County native.  She grew up in Waterloo, earned a bachelor's degree at Truman State University, and later attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.  She graduated in 2001 and has practiced small animal medicine in three St Louis practices before joining the team at Bellson Animal Hospital in 2017.  Dr Harlin enjoys canine and feline wellness care and internal medicine, emergency procedures, and small animal soft tissue surgery.  Dr Harlin is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Greater St Louis VMA, and Missouri VMA.  She shares her home with her husband Dan, and their children, as well as a German Shorthaired Pointer named Lilly, a Pit Mix named Scarlet Begonia, and a cat named Boris.  In their spare time, the family enjoys gourmet cooking, gardening, home movie nights, camping, travel, the beach, and fishing. ​
